Constructed on the sunrise high school campus in conjunction with the challenger learning foundation and the smithsonian institute this technologically advanced space science educational center consists of administration offices, dining and food service areas, exterior patios and hardscape, training rooms, a simulated space station, a simulated mission control, briefing rooms, and main rotunda and exhibition hall featuring a 360 degree 25’ high mural painted by Robert C McCall, an official artist for NASA. The roof deck of this building contains a observation deck for studying the night sky.
